The lower tip is a hydraulic something, but it creates a knife. It uses yet another Stasis module attached to it, as well as one of those kinesis amplifiers onto the top of it, if I remember correctly. Mine has the standard SMG tip onto a (now either an EarthGov frame or something else, probably an MK-II?) Compact standard frame. The second one is one I've used since the first time I played the game, a heavily upgraded SMG that is your starting weapon. Damage, capacity, and speed, in that order for this weapon. This shows up as the SCAF Supercharged Bullpup (Cheesy, but hey, that's what Visceral did.). Primary: Military Engine on SCAF Heavy Frame (Though I used a standard heavy frame for my first playthrough) with a rail accelerator tip, statis module (Slows them down quite a bit), and the lower tip a Survey Charge with I think a suspension field? Basically, it creates a rocket launcher. It's not exact, but I could send you the blueprints or something later if you want it verbatim. I haven't used a save file for DS3 (Didn't have the prior games installed yet), but here is the setup I use off the top of my head. Why is there a need for two discs if it's about standard length for most single player games? I am doing that optional mission to explore that abandoned ship.I forget the name, but you have to use your booster packs to get to it, and then turn on the electricity, and then decode a signal or something like that.Īlso, this game came with two discs, and I'm only about 3 hours into it, but it says that the game is almost 20% complete, so I am guessing the game generally takes around 15 hours to complete. The setup has been OK, but I feel it could use some improvement. Before that, I've been using a Heavy Standard Carbine with a Force Gun attached to it, and my second weapon is a Plasma Cutter with a Revolver attached to it. I just got the upgrade to be able to make either the Javelin or the Rivet Gun. I'm still fairly early in the game, and I am not sure what type of weapons I should focus on.
I played all the previous Dead Space games and loved them.
