TAS63Player is the functional game that responds to warps and inputs while TAS63Editor is the input editor used to edit inputs, save the file, and manipulate RNG. There are two TAS tools that are currently used in TASing Super Mario 63: TAS63Player and TAS63Editor. The TAS tools were created by Creyon in 2021. Note: Because Super Mario 63 is a Flash game and RNG is not deterministic in any way for Flash titles due to use of system clock functions, a modified version of the game was created that allows for consistent, seeded RNG which is what the TAS tools use. For Super Mario 63, TASers can take advantage of warps, commands, slowdown, and an input editor to create this series of inputs.
A Tool Assisted Speedrun or TAS is a series of inputs replayed through the original game, usually to simulate a near perfect run.
